Why buy a folding moses basket stand?

There are several advantages to buying a folding model. Firstly, they can be a real space saver. If space is limited in your home you probably do not want to have the stand out at all times, or you may want the convenience of being able to stow it away when visitors are round.

One of the reasons many parents choose to buy a moses basket is that they are portable and you can keep your baby with you, but the stands are rarely lightweight and are often bulky. So another advantage of purchasing a folding version is that they are much more portable. You can collapse it down to make it easy to carry from room to room during the day, and you can even put it in the boot of your car if you want to take it to other people's homes.

Are there any disadvantages to consider?

There is no real downside to buying a folding stand. However, if you also like the idea of buying a rocking moses basket stand you may need to compromise on one of the functions as it is difficult to find a stand which does both.
